Welcome to the 2024 Bushnell Blast in the Bayou hosted by Big River Ballistics! This match will provide realistic hunting scenarios as seen with alligator, hog, black bear, whitetail, bobcat, coyote, and rabbit hunting. This event will take place on a square range of a square range / flat landscape with targets ranging from 200 – 850 yards with average targets at 500 yards. The challenge will be in the finding, ranging, engaging portion of the match. Hunters will not be far from their vehicle at any time. To keep things blind we don’t want to hunters coming and going from them too much though on certain parts of the range. Weather should be fairly good, however, may be rainy during that month. It likely won’t be too hot or cold. We aim to offer you some good eats and hoping Crawfish will be doing good then. Expect some natural and manmade props and some shooting from side by sides and deer stands/blinds.

This hunting simulated event will consist of 15 stages, so prepare accordingly. Round count will be 60-120 rounds, depending on your skill level completing each stage with either 1st round impacts, vs misses/2nd round impacts, but bring extra for getting velocity/PF for your tiebreaker, and zero’ing your rifle.
