DESCRIPTION:
Come and Enjoy the 2021 Tennessee Long Hunter Challenge. This event will be a test of skills and equipment in Southeastern rifle hunting situations.
Match Fee option 1 will be $100. This option provides you entry to shoot the course, but does not allow you to be eligible for prizes or match swag. We do want you to join us for the awards ceremonies and all after hours events. Includes meals.
Match Fee option 2 will be $250. Your entry to shoot and be eligible for the prize table. Your match fee will include a match t-shirt, and swag bag.
The prize table will be awarded to the top competitors in each division, then order of finish. Awards will be in order 1st light, 1st factory, 1st heavy, 2nd in each division of the same order, 3rd in each division in the same order, then remaining order of finish.
A special Item may be given to the Top Shooters in each division.
The Match will be open to 100 shooters to challenge themselves and their equipment in hunting situations common in the South Eastern United States. The match will present Big game animals commonly found in the south east. Shooters will walk the entire course, giving them an opportunity to test their boots and load carrying equipment. 14 stages to complete and a maximum round count of 140 rounds. (Bring Extra ammo for sight in and possible side games.)
Friday, April 16th 2021 we will open the range for sight in from 9am to 5pm. We will also have some classes available. The classes may be for shooting, utilizing gear, or game processing. (Bring some clothes you don’t mind throwing away) For those interested in camping, this will be a great place to set up a tent and put that part of your equipment to test. April sees an average 70 degree highs and 45 degree lows. Sometimes a little chilly at night. Rainfall is always possible.
TRAVEL / LODGING
The best airport to travel through for Eagle Eye Shooting Complex is Nashville International Airport, and is 1.5 hour drive from the range.
