Welcome back to the Leupold Southern Hunting Challenge in the Arena for our NRL Hunter series event! The match will be held at Arena Training Facility in Blakely, Georgia.

Arena has over 2300 acres available, so hunters can expect a wide variety of stages. This match will be 80% natural terrain with targets ranging from 180 yards out to ~900 yards and will be based off realistic hunting you would expect here in South Georgia (Whitetail Deer, Wild Hogs, Coyotes, Turkeys, Squirrels, Rabbits).

With 18 planned stages, the max round count will be 144, but bring extra for getting velocity/PF for your tiebreaker, zero’ing your rifle, and potential side-matches. A tripod is highly recommended.

Hunters will be driving to stages, so it will be helpful if groups carpool as much as possible. This time of year is likely to have rain/mud, so pack accordingly.

Upon registration, please look for the online waiver that you’ll need to have completed.

There are no refunds. Transfers will be accepted via email only. The slot owner must email brittney@nrlhunter.org the new hunter’s name and email address, no later than 14 days prior to the match, no transfers will be accepted after the 14-day window.

T-Shirts and requested sizes are guaranteed for those who register prior to January 9, 2023.

SEEKING ROs:

IF you’re interested in ROing this event, please submit to the following RO Application: https://bit.ly/Southern-Hunting-Challenge_2023ROApp. Anyone may apply, however, space is limited and not guaranteed.

To help us reward quality ROs during the 2-day event, vetted individuals will be offered a complimentary slot for an opportunity to complete all stages in 1-day timeframe (on the RO Shoot Day). This will be for points amongst the other hunters and for prize eligibility. The opportunity at this is set to take place on the competitor Check-in Day.

We’re looking forward to hosting you and helping you gain every ethical edge!
