MATCH DESCRIPTION

Welcome back to the Second annual H U N T E R S Coalition backed by DEFIANCE Machine. Shooters are heading back to the great big game state of New Mexico. Located just 30 miles North of Clovis, our notorious eye for an eye venue is truly one of a kind. Competitors will find themselves in Sharp Mountain/Mesa type terrain with steep slopes and large elevation changes (300+ meters throughout the course). We took great care this year in creating our course of fire, working with the bold terrain and vegetation to deliver a true hunting experience.

This match will be open 96 individual competitors and 12 teams testing their skill to accomplish DO OR DIE hunting scenarios, the course of fire will once again be 24 stages. The maximum round count is 192 rounds, Of course, bring extra rounds for zero and power factor etc. Max range of targets will be 1,000 yards, Day 1, the walk will be fairly easy ranging to a couple 100 yards at a time, Day 2 will be slightly longer. The course elevation will range from 4,800 feet to 3,000 ft. Please put into high consideration that it is hot and windy as we saw last year, and to dress accordingly. Lunch will be provided on Saturday and dinner will be provided Sunday during the awards ceremony at “Southwest Shooting Center Clovis NM.”

GETTING HERE

With over 20 hotels + AIR BNBs to choose from and over 40 restaurants. Clovis, New Mexico is a city located in the southeastern part of the state 15 miles from the border of Texas, it has rich history including being a major part of the railroad industry in the early 20th century. Today, it’s known its cultural scene, agricultural economy and nearby attractions such as Cannon Airforce.

Airports:

The nearest airport to clovis NM, is the Clovis municipal (CVN). It’s a public airport located six miles east of downtown Clovis. Competitors looking for more commercial flights may consider flying into Amarillo Rick husband International Airport (AMA) Texas or Lubbock Preston Smith

International Airport Texas. Which both are 100 miles of Clovis. It typically takes 1.5 hours to drive the distance from the two airports to Clovis NM.
